Fishing - Niche Market #17

RT Cunningham | January 18, 2021 (UTC) | Blogging

fishingThe act of fishing is as old as time itself. I have to admit I don’t know the history of all the methods used. Even historians probably lack in that area.

Fishing is a popular hobby. It’s also a popular profession. Millions, possibly billions, of people have careers and jobs related to fishing. From catching them to selling them and everything in between, many people make their living from this industry.

The Fishing Niche Market

This major category includes the following subcategories. Fishing includes the methods and the equipment used.

I Only Like to Eat Fish

My father used to love to fish. He didn’t care for catching it or eating it. He just enjoyed the act of fishing. Many of his weekends were spent fishing somewhere, either at a lake or at the ocean. I know this because I was “forced” to go with him many times. It’s obvious I can’t remember my youngest years, but I remember many of his brothers (my uncles) fishing right alongside him. He had five or six brothers, but I don’t remember all of them.

Although I spent time fishing before I joined the military, I didn’t do it because I enjoyed it - I fished for food. I haven’t spent an hour fishing since then because I don’t have the patience for it.
